Hawks open Round 2 tonight at Home

Hawks fans, it’s Friday, it’s Gameday!

Tonight your Trenton Golden Hawks open their 2nd round series at home, as they take on the Toronto Jr. Canadiens, who are fresh off of a round 1 elimination of the Wellington Dukes.

The Hawks know they will have their hands full with this Toronto team, as they are well coached, play a solid 2 way game, have a great power play, and are known as a team that is built well for the playoffs.  Trenton upset Toronto last season is 7 games, and they know that the Canadiens will be using this as motivation.

Trenton is coming off a 4 game sweep of the Stouffville Spirit, and look to keep the momentum going.  Trenton’s playoff thus far can be described as 1 thing, a total team effort!  Coach Smith put the fellas through a very disciplined week of practice, so this writer is convinced, your Hawks will be firing on all cylinders tonight.

Tickets are still available for tonight’s game, so be sure to grab them online or at the box office.  We have a night full of events planned, so be sure to check us out, wear your white and blue support gear, bring your rally towels, and let’s make some noise.  Puck Drop is at 7:30 pm tonight!
