Michael Camilleri Named Director of Hockey Operations for Trenton Golden Hawks
The Trenton Golden Hawks are proud to announce the appointment of Michael Camilleri as the club’s new Director of Hockey Operations.
A native of London, Ontario, Camilleri joins the Golden Hawks with a resume that defines championship success and elite player advancement. His appointment marks a significant step forward as the organization aligns itself with the evolving landscape of junior hockey.
Camilleri’s journey through the hockey world is highlighted by success at every level. His scouting expertise has contributed to some of the most prestigious trophies in the sport, including a Memorial Cup with the London Knights (OHL) in 2016 and a Robertson Cup with the Shreveport Mudbugs (NAHL) in 2021. His deep scouting network spans the OHL, USHL, NAHL, and OJHL, providing Trenton with an unparalleled reach in player recruitment.
Most recently, Michael has held General Manager and Director of Hockey Operations positions with the GOHL (Bombers & Siskins) and OJHL (Toronto Patriots).
Beyond the front office, Michael has a great deal of experience with premier spring and summer program dedicated to preparing young athletes for the next steps in their careers. His philosophy centers on high-paced training and creating a culture where like-minded players can exceed their potential while learning vital life lessons through the game.

Family and Community
Currently residing in the GTA, Michael is a father of two, Matthew and Marley. His commitment to sport and community is evident through his years of coaching competitive hockey, lacrosse, and baseball.
“I am excited and looking forward to bringing my experience and dedication to the Trenton Golden Hawks and the Quinte West community,” says Camilleri.
Michael will take the lead immediately, overseeing the scouting department and will be a integral part of our May Prospect Camp.
