Tonight, our beloved Trenton Golden Hawks are travelling on the road, up to St. Michael’s to take on the Buzzers.
This will be the first game back for head coach Derek Smith, since he returned with a very well earned silver medal, at the world Jr. A challenge in Truro N.S, and we are all excited to have him back behind the bench, where he continues his quest of a Buckland Cup Championship.
Currently your Hawks are sitting atop the Eastern Conference with a very impressive 28-5-0-1 record, good for 57 points, however in order to achieve our goal, Coach Smith knows we have many things to work on, and perfect! St. Michaels is always a tough challenge, they play good hockey in their barn, so our Hawks will have to be firing on all cylinders tonight, if they hope to walk away with the 2 points.
Then, on Friday, your Hawks are back home as they are hosting the Stouffville Spirit. Stouffville is a very well coached team, known for their work ethic, and are currently battling for a playoff spot, so, be assured, with this being both teams last game before the break, they will be coming out of the gate hard looking for the 2 points.
