2026-27 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT

STRENGTHENING THE BENCH: Golden Hawks Appoint

Jordan Bailey as Associate Coach

TRENTON, ON – The Trenton Golden Hawks are proud to announce the latest addition to their revamped coaching staff, naming established OJHL coach Jordan Bailey as the club’s new Associate Coach.

The hiring of Bailey signals a major investment in the club’s “Player-First” development model. By pairing a reigning Coach of the Year in Connor Armour with a coach of Bailey’s caliber, the Golden Hawks now boast one of the most experienced and technically proficient coaching tandems in Junior A hockey.

“Adding a coach with Jordan’s resume is a statement of our commitment to our players,” says Trenton Golden Hawks Management. “In a development league, the quality of instruction on the bench is everything. By surrounding our players with seasoned, qualified leaders like Connor and Jordan, we are reinforcing the Hawks legacy of excellence. We owe it to our fans and supporters to remain a top-tier team that competes for a championship every single year.”

A Proven Track Record of Advancement

Jordan Bailey arrives in Quinte West with five years of coaching experience specifically within the OJHL. After serving as an assistant coach for four seasons, Bailey most recently stepped into a Head Coaching role, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the league’s competitive landscape.

Bailey’s career has been defined by his ability to move players to the next level. Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in advancing numerous athletes to the CHL, NCAA, and U Sports levels. His philosophy is rooted in the belief that a coach’s success is measured by the growth and professional readiness of his players.

With the hiring of Bailey, the Golden Hawks have solidified a leadership group that is uniquely positioned to handle the modern challenges of player recruitment and mid-season development. Jordan’s focus on preparing athletes for the “next step” ensures that every player wearing the Gold and Black is receiving the best possible preparation for their future hockey careers.

Welcome to Trenton, Jordan!
