The Heart of the City: Golden Hawks Announce “Weekend of Giving”

As the Trenton Golden Hawks continue their dominant run atop the Eastern Division, the organization is turning its focus toward the community that fuels their success. Riding an incredible nine-game winning streak and having already clinched a 2026 playoff berth, the Hawks are set to host a “Weekend of Giving”—a series of events dedicated to supporting local essential services and celebrating the best fans in the OJHL.

Restocking the Shelves: “Share the Love” Food Drive

Friday, Feb 13 vs. Caledon Admirals (7:30 PM)

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the Golden Hawks are asking fans to “Share the Love” for those in need. In partnership with Lange & Fetter, we are hosting a massive food drive to benefit the Trenton Care & Share Food Bank.

The mission is simple: Fill the Truck. We are calling on all attendees to bring non-perishable food donations to the game. Look for the Lange & Fetter vehicle at the entrance to the Dunc! Your contributions—from pasta and sauce to cereal and canned goods—will go directly to restocking shelves that have seen high demand this winter. Let’s hit “double digits” on the ice with a tenth straight win while hitting record numbers for our local food bank.

Family Day Tradition: Hockey for Health Care

Monday, Feb 16 vs. Wellington Dukes (2:30 PM)

The “Battle of Quinte” takes on a deeper meaning this Monday. In a longstanding tradition of giving back, the Golden Hawks are proud to host the Hockey for Health game in support of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation (TMHF).

Our local hospital is an essential pillar of Quinte West, providing life-saving care to our families, friends, and neighbors. To honor these healthcare heroes, the Hawks will take the ice in limited-edition custom jerseys.

  • The Auction: These jerseys will be auctioned off following the game, with proceeds supporting the TMHF.

Following the final buzzer, the celebration continues! Fans of all ages are invited to the Auditorium for a full-team meet-and-greet and autograph session. It is our way of saying thank you for the unwavering support you show us every night.
