TRENTON GOLDEN HAWKS PREPARE TO DEFEND THE CUP
The regular season is still over a month away, but training camp and exhibition games are just around the corner for the Trenton Golden Hawks.
As we gear up to the start of a new season, coach and GM, Derek Smith, is excited to get back on the ice with a new roster of potential players to prepare for our 2025-26 season. “We will be using our training camp and the exhibition games to push the players and ensure we build a strong team to defend our cup win from last season.”
With the changes in the hockey landscape, we will have some work ahead of us to iron out the final team roster, however, the Hawks franchise has a strong history of recruiting the best or best in large part due to our amazing sponsors and fans!
Our Training Camp Schedule is:
Wednesday, August 20 – 10am –3pm
Thursday, August 21 – 10am-3pm
Friday, August 22 – Black and White game – 1 pm-3pm
Our 2025-26 Exhibition Schedule is:
Saturday, August 23 vs Wellington at the Lehigh Arena Wellington (puck drop 6:30pm)
Sunday, August 24 vs Wellington at the Duncan Memorial Gardens (puck drop 6:30pm)
Tuesday, August 26 vs Smiths Falls at the Smith Falls Memorial Centre (puck drop 7:30pm)
Thursday, August 28 vs Smiths Falls at the Duncan Memorial Garden (puck drop 5:00 pm)
We will be partnering with the Trenton Care & Share Food Bank for our exhibition games and ask all fans to bring a non-perishable food donation to the games.
Admission cost will be $5/person – kids until 12 free
Season Ticket holders are free to the games, but we ask that you still bring a donation for the Food Bank.
