Trenton Golden Hawks Announce Trade with Soo Thunderbirds of the NOJHL
The Trenton Golden Hawks have finalized a trade to acquire what Derek Smith calls a “young and talented defenseman”.
The GHawks will add Candon O’Neill of the Soo Thunderbirds to their roster for the upcoming season in exchange for Player Development Fee. O’Neill is from Sault Ste Marie, ON where he played AAA for his minor hockey years and last year with the Soo Thunderbirds of the NOJHL where he played 39 games with a record of 5 G, 26 A, & 14PIM.
