Hawks fans, Friday night is the night! The 2 top teams in the OJHL go at it for the first time ever in Trenton, as the Hawks (0.889 win pct) welcome the Leamington Flyers (0.833 win pct), with puck drop taking place at the usual 7:30pm.
This game will be a huge early indicator of where both teams will need to be, what they have to improve on, as come playoff time both teams are expecting a long run, 2 teams that are really built for a Championship season.
Both teams are off to a great start as mentioned earlier, the Hawks are 8-1, and the Flyers are 7-1-0-1, both teams lead their conferences in win percentage, and would really like to impose their will on the other, which guarantees for a great hockey game!
Leading the way for the Hawks has been the play of goaltender Brady Spry, coming off of a 63 save performance, and the offensive explosiveness of Matthew Souliere and David Fournier. For the Flyers be sure to keep an eye on #55 Colton Smith.
