After a successful weekend, which saw the Trenton Golden Hawks defeat division rivals Wellington Dukes on Friday, and The Toronto Jr. Canadiens on Sunday, your Hawks are back into action Tuesday, at home, as they take on the Aurora Tigers.
The Tigers, who also beat the Dukes this past weekend, (6-3) are looking to rebound from a 5-1 defeat at the hands of the St. Michael’s Buzzers. The Tigers are a well coached young squad, led by 06 born Antonio Cerqua who has an impressive 5 goals, 10 assists, good for 15 pts this season.
As for your Hawks, the boys are looking to keeping the momentum going, continue to grow as a team, and really looking to establish themselves as the head of the class in the OJHL, when they skate into action Tuesday night.
David Fournier is currently leading the Hawks in team scoring with 28 points, however the scoring really has been coming from the team as a committee, which makes them a tough team to play against.
Fans, be sure to get your tickets for this one, either online or at the gate. We will have all amenities open, new merch has arrived, the food and drinks will be freshly available for you, as well as our 50/50 and chuck a puck.
So be sure to come on down to the Dunc for a rare Tuesday night game.
