It will be a quick turnaround for the Trenton Golden Hawks, who return to action Tuesday night at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Gardens against the Toronto Warriors.
Trenton will then host the Wellington Dukes on Friday before hitting the road for back-to-back games against the Stouffville Spirit and Toronto Warriors to close out the weekend.
The busy stretch follows a quiet week for the Golden Hawks, who played just once last week, falling 6-3 to the Spirit on Friday.
Michael Domina, Mason Musclow and Kale Mace scored for Trenton, while Sterling Poff made his OJHL debut.
Hayden Jeffrey turned aside 42 shots in the loss.
Sunday afternoon’s scheduled game against the North York Rangers was cancelled due to a rink-booking error at Herb Carnegie Arena.
The Golden Hawks were also active in the community last week, making appearances at two local events.
On Monday, Golden Hawks players took part in the United Way Hastings & Prince Edward fundraising campaign at Dairy Queen in Trenton, helping serve ice cream while supporting the annual campaign.
On Saturday afternoon, Golden Hawks players took part in the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre’s Community OP Welcome Event, meeting service members and their families, participating in activities and playing ball hockey.
The team also unveiled a new online 50/50 draw in partnership with the Kin Club of Trenton. Draws will take place during every Golden Hawks home game this season, with proceeds going toward player needs and the bursary fund.

Single-game and season tickets are available online or in person at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Gardens box office during posted business hours.
