After a successful Governor’s Showcase, which saw your Trenton Golden Hawks go a perfect 2-0, (defeated Collingwood and the Toronto Patriots) the boys return home Friday, as they prepare to take on the Haliburton Huskies, for a 7:30pm showdown.
Leading your way for the Hawks offensively thus far is Taeo Artichuk with an impressive 10 points in just 5 games. (3 goals 7 assists). Defenseman Nathan Mchattie, who scored his first goal as a Hawk at the governor’s showcase, leads the d-men in points with 6 points. As a team your Hawks are a very good 4-1, with 24 goals for, and 13 against.
Trenton head coach says he is happy with the way the boys played this past week, however, their is always room for improvement, and you can bet the bank, he will have his guys ready for Friday.
As for the Haliburton Huskies, after starting the season 2-0, the Huskies are on a 2 game slide, and will definitely be bringing their A Game to the Dunc on Friday, with hopes of getting back on track, in this early OJHL season.
