Another Road Weekend for your Hawks

Your Trenton Golden Hawks are back in action this weekend, as they travel to Markham on Friday, then King on Sunday.

Last weekend was a weekend to forget, as your Hawks went 0-2, and truly did not play their best hockey.  The best thing about regular season play though is, it’s a long battle, bumps in the road do happen, and now the fellas are looking to right the ship, with 2 great performances.

Practices have been intense this week, with head coach Derek Smith putting the boys thru the paces, and reminding the boys that this is a grind, a marathon, not a sprint.  You can really feel a change in the air at practice, so here is to knowing your boys will do us proud this weekend.

Friday the boys travel to Markham as previously mentioned, for a 7:30pm game.  The Royals are known as a well coached team, that is committed to working hard.  Currently the Royals have a 7-16-1-2 record.  Trenton won the first meeting 7-2.

Sunday’s game in King is a 3pm afternoon puck drop.  The Rebellion are a very strong team in the Western Conference, and currently have a very good record of 18-9.  This is the first meeting between these 2 clubs this season.

Fans, we hope you all can join us on the road, or follow along on Flo Hockey.
