Fans,
Friday your Trenton Golden Hawks travel to Markham for a 7:30 pm game vs the Royals, to complete their 3 game road trip.
On Sunday your Hawks are back at the Dunc for an afternoon affair against the Niagara Falls Canucks.
Currently your Hawks are on quite a roll, winning 4 in a row, with the last being 2 on the road, so you know the boys will be looking to make it a perfect 3-0 road trip before returning back to home ice. The current road trip has been meaningful to a few of the Hawks individually, which saw stellar D-Man Jaxon Broda score his first career OJHL goal, David Fournier take over the scoring lead, and Ryan Sanborn continue his near flawless play, sporting a perfect 12-0 record with 5 shutouts, thus far.
As for their Friday opponents, the Markham Royals.
The Royals are coming off of a big win, and always are up to the challenge of facing a top tier team such as the Hawks. 2004 born Owen Fergusson has had a great year, sporting 13-26-39 point totals.
Puck drop for this one is at 7:30pm!
On Sunday, your Hawks are hosting the Niagara Falls Canucks in what is their first visit to the Dunc.
The Canucks are a very good hockey team (20-16-0-4), lead by forward Parker Forlin. Parker is having a great year statistically with 32-28-60 point totals. The Canucks are currently on a 2 game skid, and are definitely trying to right the ship.
Puck drop on Sunday is 2:30pm.
Be sure to pop on down to the box office, go see Wendy say hello, and grab your tickets!!! If you cannot pop down, go online and purchase your tickets. We are hoping to have a big crowd Sunday! Be sure to come out, show the Canucks why we are the best fans in the OJHL, and remember, GO HAWKS GO!!!
